JAKARTA, 2 February 2016 - cancer can be suffered by anyone, without exception, including on children. According to the data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of peoples with cancer is currently reach 14.1 million men and 4 percent of them are children and in Indonesia itself, the Commission for the Protection of Children Indonesia (KPAI) notes about 4.100 new cancer cases suffered by the children in Indonesia.
Therefore, welcomed the International Children Cancer Day falls on 15 February 2016; Panin Dai-ichi Life also supports the implementation of the campaign and social movements with the theme of "Heart of Gold". The committee and the ambassadors from the Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI) spearheaded the campaign.
Jutany said, "We are very pleased to be able to participate in the program. We hope that with this program can also increase social awareness to help others who need, in this case the children with cancer. Hopefully this activity can help, and become the hope and a new spirit for them."
As a form of support for this event, Panin Dai-ichi Life provides life insurance protection and accident to 1000 volunteers who participate in one of a series of program "Heart of Gold" namely "Brave Bald" where the participants will shave her hair as the commitment of the donation.
